LUCENA CITY — Police on Thursday intercepted two vans reportedly loaded with illegally quarried river sand in Sariaya city in Quezon province, police stated Friday, March 3.
In a report, the Quezon police stated native police and Provincial Mining Regulatory Board personnel flagged down round 5:30 p.m. the vans pushed by Joe Mark Hernandez and Glenn Albindo in Barangay Tumbaga 1.
Police stated every of the automobiles was loaded with three cubic meters of sand illegally quarried alongside the river financial institution within the village.
The drivers failed to provide the required allow or authorization from the PMRB for the quarry supplies.
Authorities seized the automobiles, and the suspects will probably be charged criminally.
